Blanche Claire Johnson

Blanche Claire (Beaulieu) Johnson passed away on Friday, November 10th at the Dr. Gendreau Personal Care Home at the age of 84.
Born in Ste Rose du Lac, Manitoba to Charlemagne and Alice (Gareau) Beaulieu, Mom was raised in Cayer along with her sister Rita and brother Raymond. She attended Tamarac Lake School, Cayer convent and Ste Rose convent. She started dating our Dad while working as a telephone operator in Gladstone, Manitoba. They were married on October 11, 1952 and spent most of their married life raising kids and cattle along the shores of Lonely Lake. The coffee was always on for anyone who visited or just showed up in their yard. Visitors very seldom left without being fed too. They retired to their home in Ste Rose along Highway #5 and the open-door policy continued there. At this point, they had been blessed with quite a few grandchildren and there weren't many days or nights that Mom and Dad spent alone.
When the house and yard got to be too much work, they moved to the Leisure Apartments where Mom spent the next 4 years before moving to the Dr Gendreau Personal Care Home. Once again, the total number of visitors exceeded anything either of these places had ever seen.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Helgi and her parents Charlie and Alice.
She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish many fond memories; her children; Kelly (Lorraine) and their children Kajsa (Gerald), Sawyer and Shea, Koreen (Terry) and their children Mandy (Rheal), Tara (Travis) and Sayla (Kelly), Ryan (Debbie) and their children Randi and Turner, Carla (Colin) and their children Dorn (Laci), Kendall (Jesse) and Bryce (Michaela), Gaylene (Tim) and their children Ian (Robyn) and Chenoa, Jana (Alain) and their children Laurier, Clemence and Astrid, Tricia (Fabian) and their children Augustus, Levi and Olivié as well as her great grandchildren Kelly and Lewis Maguet, Raiden and Keenan Legall, Logan, Adam, Gavin, Anya and Wylder Chaput, Xander and Eleanor Zastre, Chase Miller and Elie and Helgi Mailman; her sister Rita Olafson and her brother Raymond (Chrissie) Beaulieu; Dad's sisters Freda Olafson, Audrey (Earl) Clayton and sister-in-laws Metta Johnson and Kathy Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews.
