Wilfred was born on April 2nd, 1948, in Boggy Creek to parents Phillip and Alice Paul. He was the second of eight children, part of a close and loving family. He moved out at a young age and that was when his adventures began.
Throughout his life, Wilfred was a hard worker. He spent time working on the railroad, drywalling, and later in construction. Whatever the job, he gave it his best taking quiet pride in his work and in the people he met along the way.
He enjoyed many activities from playing guitar at a young age, to heading out fishing, whether he was trying to catch the big one or just enjoying the peace of the outdoors. Wilfred loved to cruise around to pass the time whether on his own or with his dear friend Sharon. He cherished good conversations and hearty home cooked meals.
Wilfred was a proud grandfather to his five chose grandchildren. He spoke of them often, and you could always see the pride and love in his face when he did. Family meant everything to him and he had a special way of showing that love quietly, through his time, his smiles, and steady presence.
Wilfred was predeceased by his parents Alice and Philip; sisters Nicole Bercier and Marlene Carriere. He will be dearly missed by his friend Sharon of Roblin; his five chosen grandchildren; sisters Eunice Paul, Bernice (Jim) Patmore, Rita Bercier, Vicky (Leo) Ykema; brother Billy (Tammy) Paul; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
