November 13, 1949 - May 2, 2021
It is with heavy hearts and sadness we announce the passing of our amazing dad, grandfather, brother and uncle, Earl Wayne MacMillan. He was diagnosed with cancer on April 9, 2021 while he was admitted in Dauphin Hospital, not at all pleased to be there, Jaime packed him up, and brought him home to their place to be loved and cared for by herself, Trevor and their 3 boys, Quinn (14 yrs), Cruz (7yrs) and Reed (6yrs), Troy, his girlfriend Bobbie and their boy Laiken (1yr) and Brody.
Special thank you to his nephew Jim and wife Kim for all their hands on help. Special thank you to his niece Melanie, husband Ernest and their son Liam, for meal deliveries, special friends that meant the world to dad, Gerald & Ruth, Garth, Jason & Roberta and Janice.
Dad is predeceased by both of his parents Elmer (2000) and Ila (2020) and his brother Ronald. He is survived by his siblings, Agnes (Alec), Eric (Gladys) and Gordon (Kathy); nieces and nephews, cousins, along with his own 3 boys Trevor (Jaime), Brody, Troy (Bobbie) and many more special friends he's met over the years, some new some old. His 4 grandsons were the light of his life, Quinn, Cruz, Reed and Laiken.
When he wasn't busy with the boys, you could find him at the Food Bank putting in endless amount of hours helping everyone in need or at Pet Value, with his buddy Jason, who he spent many hours volunteering with. Dad loved to help out whoever and where ever he could!
A huge thank-you to Dr. Regan Gray, Ali- physicians assistant up on Dad's wing of the hospital and the Homecare nurses and Palliative at Home care program, amazing set of ladies. From the bottom of our hearts, thanks to everyone that helped us through!
With Dad's wishes being fulfilled, cremation has taken place.
If friends and family so desire, donations can be made to the local Food Bank, Pet Value at the mall or the Parkland Humane Society.
