In Loving Memory
It is with sad hearts that the family announces the passing of their dear husband, father, grandpa, Walter Stark on Thursday, April 28th, 2022, at the age of 78. Left to love and remember Walter is his loving wife, Olga (Ollie); two daughters: Sheila and son Luc, Carrie (Vince) daughter Hali and son Joseph. Sister: Adell Okun and sister-in-law June Bouffard; Brothers-in-law, John (Pat), Peter (Anne), Michael (Linda); Sister-in-law, Elsie, Mary Anne (Jim), Diane (Michael), Patricia (Richard); Numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Leopold, and Lydia; three brothers: Herman, Alfred, Robert; and three sisters Ann, Lillian, Gertrude.
Walter was a flooring contractor of 55 years, he loved the freedom of the farm and working with cattle particularly calving time. He was a life member of the Dauphin Agricultural Society, Dauphin Agricultural Heritage Club, Manitoba Pool, 4-H leader. In his younger years he played baseball and hockey. He was the lead singer with his band the “Impalas”. 'Walter passed away peacefully.
A private memorial service will be planned in the future. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dauphin Trinity Lutheran Church or a charity of choice.
