Wally Marcyniuk Obituary

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Wally Marcyniuk on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the age of 63 years.

Wally James Marcyniuk was born in Fisher Branch, MB.  He was raised on the family farm in Dallas, MB.  He attended Peguis Central School.  In 1973, he moved from Dallas to Fisher Branch, where he then completed his schooling before moving to Pine River, MB in 1978.

Once in Pine River, Wally worked with Thad and Sylvia Snow on their family ranch.  They welcomed him into their family and community.  There he met the twinkle of his eye-his missing rib, Marlene, and decided to never leave Pine River.  They married in 1990 and raised their two sons, Wade and Ryan, on the family farm.  He lived more that half his life in Pine River.  He became an outstanding member of his community.

While Wally’s passion was farming, he enjoyed visiting everyone on his side jobs, the water plant and waste site.  He was known for being a helping hand to all.  He enjoyed sharing his wisdom, his wit, and his strong family.

Wally is survived by his loving wife Marlene and their two sons, Ryan and Wade (Ericka), as well as one of his greatest joys - his grandsons Wyatt and Shadow.

Wally is also survived by his siblings, David (Marina), Jerry (Barbara), Terry (Betty), MaryAnn (Monty), Henrikson and special cousin, Danny (Anne), along with numerous nieces (9) and nephews (3). He was known as Uncle Wally to many others.

Wally was predeceased by his parents, Polly and Nicholas Marcyniuk, brother Larry and (Lila), his parents-in-law Violet and Mike Lylyk, and brother-in-law Barry Lylyk.

Wally will be forever loved and always in our hearts.

Due to Covid -19 Restrictions, cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date.
