It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Vickie Brezden on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre at the age of 88. She was born on October 16, 1934 to Stanley and Nellie Petrowsky.
Vickie will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by daughter Connie (Nick), son Richard (Chiemi) and daughter Nadine (Don), "Gams" will never be forgotten by her grandchildren, Alyssa (Matthew), Cody (Rannie), Chad, Kennedy, Campbell, great grandsons Benjamin and Charlie and great granddaughter Madilynn. Vickie is also survived by her sister Lil, sisters-in-law Lorraine & Jessie, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Vickie was predeceased by her husband Vic, parents, Stanley & Nellie, sister and brother-in-law Lois & Lorne, father and mother-in-law Hnat & Annie, brothers-in-law Walter, Bill and Adam, sister-in-law Rose, nephew Brad and niece Hope.
Mom was extremely thankful for her family and friends, especially after the passing of her husband Vic. Her trips to be with family in Vancouver, New York, Winnipeg, and the Brereton cottage were always close to her heart and times she always treasured. Mom's time spent at the church, church hall and with all her friends was very important to her. She loved every moment.
Prayers & Rosary was offered on Friday, March 10, 2023 beginning at 6:30pm from Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Resurrection in Dauphin, MB.
Funeral Liturgy was held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm from Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Resurrection in Dauphin, MB.

Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery in Dauphin, MB. Pallbearers are Don Brown, Cody Mymko, Nick Dyck, Matthew Munce, Brian Brezden, Bruce Brezden.
