Victoria Love Snihor passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Crocus Court at the age of 81 years young. Victoria Love Snihor was born on October 28, 1940, in Russell, Manitoba and was raised on the family farm. On June 14, 1961 was united in marriage to John Snihor, and they continued to carry on the tradition of the family farm in Binscarth, Manitoba. In 1973 John and Victoria sold the farm and moved to a farm in the Makaroff district. Victoria resided with her son, Dennis there until her health started to fail. Then in October of 2020, Victoria moved into Crocus Court in Roblin, MB.
Victoria is predeceased in death by her husband, John Snihor; parents, Tony and Mary Huta; brother, Victor Huta, son-in-law, Sam Daneluk and daughter-in-law, Kim Snihor.
She leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory, her sons, Pete Snihor of Roblin, MB, Dennis Snihor of Roblin, MB and daughter, Tracey Daneluk (Kent Johner) of Estevan, SK; four grandchildren, Elisha Daneluk of Bienfait, SK, Nicholas (Cassy) Daneluk of Regina, SK, Desiree Snihor (Tony Cook) of Roblin, MB, Megan Snihor (Rick Dickson) of Roblin, MB and six great grandchildren; brother, Russell Huta (Joyce); sister, Rose (Mike) Cherneski and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Prayers were held for Victoria on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 7:00 pm from Sneath Strilchuk Funeral Chapel in Roblin. A Funeral Liturgy was held Monday, June 6, 2022 at 10:00 am from Holy Redeemer Ukrainian Catholic Church in Roblin, MB with Rev. Father Ivan Hnativ officiating and interment following at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Nicholas Daneluk, Mike Cherneski, Terry Cherneski, Kyle Cherneski, Peter Goba and Kevin Huta.
