It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Vera White on March 29, 2020, at the age of 79 at Grandview, MB.
Vera Mischuk was born July 17, 1940, in Ethelbert, MB. At an early age the Mischuk’s moved to Grandview. Vera’s family suffered hardship when her father passed away when she was around 6 years old.
After leaving school Vera moved to Davidson, SK, to work as a nurse’s aid. In 1965 she met and married William White. After several moves in different towns and provinces Grandview again became home.
In 1966 twins Tim and Tom were born and in 1969 Grant completed the family. Vera held numerous jobs for many years including working at the RCMP barracks, the Grandview Hospital and many painting jobs with her sister-in-law Shirley.
Vera took pride in her gardens and enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking and fishing.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Bill, sons Tim, Tom and wife Lisa, Grant and wife Lorna. Four grandchildren, Colten, Deneyn, Bailey and Tanner, brothers Walter and wife Shirley, Peter and wife Judy, sisters-in-law Carol Stadnyk, Jean and husband Matt Kukurudz and Jimmi Morran and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Dan & Anne, brother Sylvester and brother-in-law David Morran.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no service at this time.
Donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
