Travis Dooley Obituary

It is with heavy hearts and immeasurable sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Travis Roy Dooley on January 25th, 2021. Travis was born on May 14th, 1992 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, MB. Having grown up in St. Norbert, he graduated from St. Norbert Collegiate in 2010.
Travis was a genuine kind, caring man who had a heart of gold. His infectious smile combined with his dimples could certainly melt anybody's heart. It was this combination that in 2014, won him the  love of his life, Brittany McDougall. They were true soul mates who made each other laugh and were very much in love. Travis had a true love for old time country music, recognizing almost any song within the first few bars of playing it. He had a love for guitars and would sometimes play in his spare time. He had a passion for driving, first earning his Class 5, then motorcycle, Class 3 and finally his pride; Class 1. He worked  many  years for Blue Grass Sod and loved driving his big Mack truck, but was the happiest when he was driving his semi on the ice roads up north. He had a love for the outdoors, camping with the "Catan-Clan" and had recently taken up an interest in kayaking. He had a sincere love of animals, once calling his dad while up north to say that he had rescued a stray pup, whom he named Nikita and loved her dearly.
Travis was always ambitious and decided he wanted to get into the excavation business.   Once in, he was unstoppable. He had hopes of opening his own business one day with Brittany by his side. He had an incredible work ethic, no job was too big or too small for him. He was always wanting to learn new things, and never afraid to try. Travis was loved by everyone he met. He had an genuine personality and had a gift for making people happy. He will be immensely missed by many, many people.
He leaves to mourn his partner, Brittany McDougall, parents Anna & Robin Dooley and sister Jessica, his in-laws Cathy Hall, John McDougall, brothers in law Jeff (Courtney), Kyle, Justin and Corey, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephew, friends and co workers. He will be sadly missed by his loyal pets, Nikita & Xena.
He was predeceased by grandparents Harry & Freda Dooley, James & Dorothy Young, auntie Heather Glowa, uncle Robert Young, auntie Darlene Uskhowski, and cousin Curtis Dooley.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Love you forever and always Travis, until we are reunited again.
