Tia Shingoose of Winnipeg, Manitoba passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020 at the age of 23 years.

Traditional Wake was offered on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from the Residence of Edward Shingoose in Ebb & Flow, MB followed by

A Funeral Service on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 2pm.. Covid gathering restrictions of 5 people were in place.

Due to COVID gathering restrictions, the family encourages all wishing to attend to watch the livestream of the funeral service rather than attending in person. The service will be live streamed from this page on Thursday, December 31st at 2:00 pm. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tia Shingoose on December 21, 2020 at the age of 23 years.

Tia is survived by her parents, Marilyn Shingoose (Percy) and Denis Baptiste (Jenny); her siblings, Savanna, Dakota (Joseph), Simone (Matt), Denine, Tristan, Denee, Serenity, Denevia, Percyne. Aunts, Francine Baptiste-Houle (John), Sabrina Houle (Travis), Glenda McCauley; uncles, Edward Shingoose (Charlene); grandparents, Carolyn & Robert Sioux, Theresa Baptiste; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews

She was predeceased by grandfathers Edward Shingoose Sr, Clifford Garneau and William Beaulieu; auntie Fiona Shingoose; brother Denis Baptiste Jr; cousin Virginia Houle; uncles Clifford ‘Deano’ Baptiste & Delbert Houle.

Tia was a quiet, soft spoken woman who loved everyone especially children. She loved her nieces and nephews, Jessana, Bella, baby Trystan and Carter very much. In Tia's short life she made many friends and loved each to the fullest, she was one of a kind. Tia loved being in the kitchen baking desserts for her family. A couple of things Tia loved to do to pass the time was write her thoughts in her journal and take selfies! Tia will be sadly missed by everyone with whom she came into contact with as she touched many hearts!
