Tammy Sue Menard

Tammy Menard of Winnipegosis, Manitoba passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the age of 51 years.

Tammy Sue Menard graced the world with her presence when she was born on January 31, 1970.  She was a black haired, brown eyed beauty.
Her mother Florence passed away when she was just a toddler and was raised by her grandmother Flora Menard who she called "Mom".

Tammy had many joys in her life, playing cards, going for walks, road trips, writing in her journals and bingo.  She also absolutely loved music.  All kinds especially country and 60's pop.  A few of her favorite artists were Keith Urban (he was easy on her eyes) and Shania Twain.  A life highlight for Tammy was when she got to see Keith Urban in concert at the MTS Center in 2018.

Tammy's greatest love by far though was talking.  She was blessed with the gift to gab!  She could talk to anyone about anything.  Tammy also loved to laugh and put a smile on the faces of those around her.  She was very witty and had a lot of jokes in her repertoire.  Even in her last few months in the hospital, she kept the nurses on their toes and enjoyed laughing at her cousin.

Tammy lived in many different places in her lifetime and touched many different people.  She moved into residential care in 2004 in Dauphin.  In 2013 she moved into her final home at the residence in Winnipegosis.  It was there she met her best friends and considered everyone her family.  She spoke of them fondly and often when she was in the hospital.

Tammy was an absolute kind precious spirit to be around and was a true definition of a strong woman.

She was diagnosed with cancer in August of 2021.  After a short but courageous battle, she passed away peacefully at the Winnipegosis Hospital with her cousin by her side holding her hand, in the early morning of October 16, 2021.  She will truly be missed by everyone who knew her. 

 A Graveside Service and interment was held on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 2:00 pm from the Winnipegosis & District Cemetery in Winnipegosis, MB with Pastor Andrew Wiens officiating. Pallbearers were Bonnie Mongeon, Randy Menard, Loretta Burak, Coleman Lytwyn.
