In Loving Memory of Thomas John "TJ" Thacker.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Thomas John Thacker.  A cherished father, devoted husband, loving son, and irreplaceable brother. He left this world unexpectedly on June 19, 2025 at the age of 42, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and quiet strength that will never be forgotten.

Thomas John "TJ" was born to Mark and Margo Thacker in Winnipeg, MB on December 14,1982. TJ was raised in Calgary, AB until 1998 at which time the family relocated back to Manitoba. TJ grew up in Ste Rose Du Lac until 2006 when he started his own family with Amanda Seeley, moving to Dauphin, MB.

TJ worked numerous jobs in Alberta and Ontario running heavy equipment but always returned home to be with his family. After his life changing accident, in 2018 TJ remained home with his family until his passing.

Thomas was the kind of person who lit up every room he walked into. His warmth, generosity, and unwavering loyalty touched everyone who knew him. He was a man who loved deeply and lived fully, putting his family at the center of everything he did.

He is survived by his loving wife, Amanda; his adored children, Blake, Khloe, Haylee; his parents, Mark and Margo Thacker; his siblings, including his brothers, Jason and Chris, and his Irish twin sister, Crystal Lamirande; and many other relatives and dear friends. Each of us grieves this profound loss, but we also celebrate the extraordinary life he lived and the love he shared so freely.

Though his time with us was far too short, Thomas leaves behind a lasting impact on our hearts and our lives. We will carry his memory with us always - in the stories we tell, the lessons he taught us, and the love he gave so freely.

Rest in peace, dear TJ. You will always be missed, and never forgotten.
 

A Celebration of Life was held for TJ on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 2:00 pm from the Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre in Dauphin.
