Susan Mary McKay of Crane River, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at the age of 62 years.
Traditional Wake was held at Susan's Residence in Crane River on Tuesday, August 24th beginning at 6:00 pm.
Funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, August 25th at 2:00 pm from the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Crane River, MB

We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Susan Mary McKay (McDonald). Susan passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 in Crane River, MB at the age of 62 years.
She was survived by Eli McKay, daughters Daisy (Myles) and Sonya; sons Lorin (Crystal) and Devin (Denine), sisters Annette (William) and Karen (Chester); brothers Ernest (Maxine), Ralph (Susan), and Kenneth (Delphine); and a special brother Lawrence (Roger) McDonald (Eve) her favourite cousin Nola Prince (Kevin); her grandchildren Austin, Ardelle, Layne, Krysta, Kennedy, Lathaniel, Cassia, Tyrone, Trevin, Trenise, Addison, Ryder, Robin, Nasheyah, Kashys, Evany, Jaydha, and Lilith. Susan has numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Predeceased by her parents George and Marie McDonald, brother Steve and Mark McDonald, Grandparents Dave and Maggie McDonald, John and Martha Ahmo, Aunties Doreen Ahmo, Cousin Herbie Ahmo, Nephew Lyle Bull, Great Niece Blossom Campbell.
Susan will be remembered as a kind, loving person. She was an awesome koko who loved all of her grandchildren, spending time and making precious memories with them. She was adventurous, loved to travel and seeing new places. She would always help her family and friends in any way she could, and would hardly ever tell them no. She loved to spend time with her family and friends playing BINGO, dice, cards and doing puzzles. She took pride in her home always cleaning and cooking. She worked numerous jobs throughout her life. She worked the asparagus fields, sugar beets, worked for the band as a cashier at the store, hauled garbage, and the health center as a home care worker, a medical van driver and read meter for Manitoba Hydro. Every job she had, she was hard worker and showed her dedication.
Throughout Susan’s life she made special bonds and everlasting memories with all her family and friends. She will be missed dearly and be forever in our hearts for years to come. She made many friendships, created special bonds and making everlasting memories.
