Steven Chartrand

Steven Anthony Chartrand of Camperville, MB passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the age of 48 years.

Steve was born on March 26, 1977 in Swan River to George and Alice Chartrand.

Steve attended school in Camperville and Winnipegosis. He then relocated to Brandon for work eventually returning to Camperville and worked with his father doing construction work.

Steve was an avid Montreal Canadien fan and he also cheered for the Toronto Blue Jays.

He spent many hours hunting and fishing with his uncle Paul. He also enjoyed sitting around the fire in the evening.

Left to cherish his memory is his only child Willow, mother Alice, brothers George (Dana) and Michael, niece Alissa, numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

Steve was predeceased by his father George Chartrand Sr., his maternal grandparents William and Forestine Sutherland, his paternal grandparents Harvey and Olvine Chartrand.

A Viewing was held for Steven on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm with prayers starting at 3:30 pm from the Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre in Dauphin with Pastor Howard Burnie officiating.  

A light lunch was offered by the family in the Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre Reception Room following the service.
