Stephen William Scott

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dad, Stephen William Scott. Stephen passed away suddenly on March 11th, 2026 on his farm in rural Gilbert Plains, MB.

Stephen was born in Gilbert Plains on December 4th, 1956, to Wilbert (Earl) and Sarah (Sadie) Scott.

Stephen was predeceased by his parents Earl and Sadie. Stephen leaves behind his son, Colten (wife Daylyn and children Sabre, Eden and Rhodes), and daughter, Julie (husband Dylan and children Halle, Sadie and Ty). Stephen also leaves behind his siblings Tom (Joan) Scott, Ab (Glennis) Scott, Marilyn (Murray) Friesen, Raymond (Gail) Scott, Sharon (Dale) Gryba, Artie (Karen) Scott and many nieces and nephews.

Stephen was a proud father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.

There will be no formal Funeral Service. Colten and Julie will celebrate and honor his life privately with their families this summer.
