Stacy Bouvier Obituary

It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Stacy Ann Bouvier on Friday, November 6, 2020 at the age of 45 years.

Stacy was born in Roblin, Manitoba to parents Alva and Elaine Bouvier (nee Burwash) and a little sister to Jackie.

From an early age Stacy had to deal with severe medical conditions and proved to everyone that she was a strong willed and determined individual who never ceased to amaze her doctors and family.

Stacy was a person of few words, but she had a huge heart, and when she would tell you “Ditto” you know she meant it. Stacy loved all animals, especially her pets, and to her, they were her babies. Listening to music was Stacy’s passion, and she had the gift to be able to name any song and the artist. The Dallas Stars was Stacy’s favorite hockey team and because of this she won a lot of slushes. Slushes became her favorite treat, especially if someone else was buying them. But the thing Stacy loved most of all was her family and the fact that she became an Aunty and then a Great Aunty. The magic words CHAA CHING, CHAA CHING (which meant let’s go to the Casino) would make Stacy get a twinkle in her eye, her nose wrinkled up, and she would get the biggest mischievous smile she was known for. If you were lucky enough you would get the “Tee HEE HEE” laugh that she would do and if you were standing close enough, she would give you the poke with her pointy little finger that she was known for.

Stacy was blessed with the gift of “never complaining” no matter what life dealt her. She was always more concerned how the other person felt, rather than herself. Perhaps, this is a lesson we could all learn from her. Even though she was a shy person, everyone that came into her life was touched by her. Stacy will be greatly missed by her family and everyone who knew her. We can all find comfort knowing that Stacy is in Heaven walking and playing with her fur babies and with our loved ones, watching over us.

Stacy leaves to cherish her memories to parents, Alva and Elaine; sister, Jackie Edel (brother-in-law, Greg); nephews, Cody Edel (wife Amanda, great nieces, Blake, Jordyn) and Brenden Edel (wife, Karmyn, great niece, Brooklyn; great nephews, Teagan and Eastyn); niece, Trinity Edel (Brayden Rolfe); and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

“See you later alligator….. and as Stacy would say, in a while crocodile.”

A Private family service was held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Randy Moffit officiating, but was livestreamed from the Sneath-Strilchuk Facebook page. Interment took place in San Cara Parish Cemetery. Urn Bearer was Greg Edel and the Honorary Urn Bearers were Cody, Brenden and Trinity Edel.
