Shirley (Fisher) Chewka

Sadly, the family of Shirley Chewka, formerly of Roblin, MB, announce her passing on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the age of 90 years.  

Shirley Elizabeth Fisher was born to parents, Osceda and Mabel Fisher (nee Miller) on September 11, 1930. Shirley currently resided in Quesnel, BC.  
Shirley is survived by her daughters, Diane (Kevin), Donna (Jim) and sons, Jim (Elnora) and Jim; daughter in law, Melanie Chewka and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Shirley was predeceased by her husband, John; and son, Bob.

Viewing for friends and family took place between 7 pm and 9 pm on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Shell Valley.  

Due to Covid19 gathering restrictions, a private family funeral service was held on Friday, April 9, 2021.  Shirley will be laid to rest next to her husband in St. John the Baptist Orthodox Cemetery in Shell Valley.  

The service will also be recorded and posted for friends and extended family after the service.
