Sheri Lyn Smith

On Wednesday August 9, 2023 Sheri, beloved daughter of Dora Smith, left us to join her very special nephew Jordan Lee Malcolm in the Spirit World. She passed away surrounded by her loving family at the Health Sciences Center.

Sheri was predeceased by her father Mike Smith, grandparents Louis and Louisa Hunter; Aunties Mary Davis, Angela Hunter, Roseanna Meeches, Adele Baptiste;  Uncle Larry Hunter Sr;  Nieces Jourdan Contois, Savannah Hunter, Paige Hunter; Nephews Jordan Malcolm and Dionne Constant.

Left to mourn her passing are her mother Dora Smith; Sister Gwen Hunter (Cecil Houle); Brothers Michael Smith (Connie Chartrand), Barry hunter (Melodie Hunter), Tommy Hunter (Mary Eastman). Also, all of Sheri's numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family members.

Sheri was a very caring person to everybody that she crossed paths with. She had taken on the responsibility to care for her mother Dora and very special nephew Jordan. She played a very important role in all of her nieces and nephews lives, giving them life lessons and guidance, she was a second mother to them. One of Sheri's favorite hobbies was going to bingo with her mom and playing cards with her family. Sheri had a very crazy, sense of humor, she was always joking around with her friends and family.

A Wake Service will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 5:00 pm from Family Residence House #639 PTH 278 in Ebb and Flow, MB  with Fr. Patrick Neufeld officiating.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 11:00 am from Family Residence House #639 PTH 278 in Ebb and Flow, MB  with Fr. Patrick Neufeld officiating.
