Sharon Mosimann Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sharon Mosimann (Nykaforak) on Sunday, August 16 in Calgary, AB at the age of 66 years. Sharon bravely fought cancer for nearly two years but eventually succumbed to this terrible disease. Sharon attended her only sisters (Linda Lovas) funeral just five short weeks ago, who also fell to Cancer.

Sharon loved to cook and she also loved spending time visiting with her family and friends. She loved reminiscing about her favorite memories and later in life she developed a passion for travel and visited over a dozen countries between North America, Africa, and Europe. She also found God and believed in the power of prayer and forgiveness.

Sharon is survived by her mother, Sylvia; sons, Corey (Christine), Kyle (Kirstin) and Ryan as well as grandchildren, Dylan, Kaiden, Callie, Mckenna, Reed, Belle, Mesa, Raelee and Emmellia. She is also survived by her nieces, Lora, Julie and Trina and their families.
Sharon is pre-deceased by her late husband, Andy Mosimann, and has requested that his urn be laid to rest with her.

A Graveside Funeral Service and Interment was held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 2 pm at Roblin & District Community Cemetery with Pastor Heath Butler and Pastor Bayo officiating with a luncheon that followed.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to be made in memory of Sharon to either the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Roblin District Cemetery, Box 998, Roblin, MB R0L 1P0. The family would like to thank everyone for the support and prayers through Sharon’s illness and for all of the condolences. God Bless.
