Sandra Carol Hrushowy

Sandra Hrushowy passed away on November 10, 2021 at the McCreary / Alonsa PCH.

Sandra will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sister Jo-Ann Hrushowy and her brother Delmar (Caroline) Hrushowy.  She is predeceased by her father Paul Hrushowy, mother Nellie Hrushowy, sister Lana, and brother Kenneth in infancy.

Sandra was born on July 19th, 1954 at the Winnipegosis Hospital.  Sandra was mentally challenged.  She received some of her education at the Bicton Heath School and when the schools consolidated she then went to school in Winnipegosis.

Sandra spent many years doing crafts at ARC Industries in Dauphin, known now as PRVSI.  Sandra cross-stitched aprons and tablecloths very beautifully.

Sandra was very loved by those who knew her.  Sandra was very soft-hearted and was very touched by the love and kindness people showed her.  She loved everyone and was kind to all.

Sandra loved to play the organ and mouth organ.  She never learned music but music was in her.  She had a wonderful ear for music and sang very well.

Later in life, she lived in two group homes in Dauphin where she was well taken care of.  We appreciated very much all who cared for her so well.  As her health declined, she needed alot more care, so she was admitted to McCreary / Alonsa PCH.  She was there for 2 years.  Words will never express the wonderful care that she received there.  She was treated like a close family member.

Above all in life, Sandra embraced the Precious Gospel of Jesus Christ when she was about 14 years old.  This Gospel came by two of God's true, homeless ministers who left all to labour for the dear souls of men.

Sandra's highlight in life was the Precious Gospel of Jesus that she loved so dearly.  It brought joy, peace, and satisfaction into her life and it gave her a living hope beyond this life.  She kept true right till her passing.

A Private Graveside Service and interment were held for Sandra on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm from the Riverside Cemetery in Dauphin.
