Ryan Jason Dewarle

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ryan Jason DeWarle (RJD) February 1, 2020 at the age of 46 in Dauphin, Manitoba after a short courageous battle with cancer.
Ryan was born July 31, 1973 in Dauphin to Mabel (Sabiston) and John DeWarle. Younger brother to Dean, John and Terry. Ryan met the love of his life, Shannon (Nicklin) in 1991 during high school. After graduating from the DRCSS in 1991, Ryan went on to attend Keewatin Community College in the Pas graduating with a diploma in Natural Resource Management.  However this was not the career for him, he landed a job at a Northern Saskatchewan fishing camp, and then moved to Northern Ontario. This was the ultimate job for Ryan doing what he loved, fishing. Ryan and Shannon eventually landed in Calgary in 1998 and in 2001 their son Nolan was born and shortly after in 2003 their daughter, Taelyr. In 2004 an opportunity came for him to move his family back home to Dauphin to live on the family farm. In 2006 Ryan and Shannon were married. Ryan was employed with GT Construction and remained with the company until July 2019.
Family and fishing were most important to Ryan. Weeknights and weekends were spent hanging at the lake, fishing, carping and having homemade boat races with the kids. Many nights were also spent in the shop playing Rummy with friends, and camping September long at Blue Lakes for the Labor Day Classic, ‘Let’s Go Riders’.
Ryan is survived by his wife, Shannon; son, Nolan; daughter, Taelyr; and fur baby, Charlie; brothers, Dean (Amy), John (Carla), Terry; and brother in law, Darren (Candace);  In laws, Wally and Shirley Nicklin as well as numerous nieces and nephews and amazing friends.
Ryan was predeceased by his dad, John 2001 and his mom, Mabel in 2019.

Guests are asked to dress casual and wear a favorite sports jersey.

Celebration of Life was held on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 2:00 pm from Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre in Dauphin, MB with Ryan Raffray officiating.

In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, donations in memory of Ryan may be made to a trust fund set up at the TD Bank Dauphin Branch for the DeWarle family.
