Rose Ann Puchailo Obituary

 Violet Rose (Ann) Puchailo (nee Johnson) born May 22, 1951. She entered into Heaven after a courageous battle with cancer on May 5, 2019 at the Grandview Hospital with family by her side.  

She was born and raised in Kinistino, Saskatchewan, where she attended the Kinistino Elementary and High School.

Ann met Albert Puchailo in the late sixties and over the years became great friends. Ann moved to Dauphin, Manitoba in 1973, dated then married Albert in 1980 where she moved to the Puchailo farm north of Gilbert Plains.  Ann resided on the farm until her heath took another turn, and her and Albert made the big decision to move into the town of Gilbert Plains in December 2018 until Ann’s passing.

Ann was predeceased by her parents Martin and Belle Johnson, her brothers Ken, Warren and Bob Johnson, her father-in-law Mike Puchailo and brother-in-law Daniel Puchailo.  She is survived by her spouse Albert Puchailo, her children Rhonda O’Connor (Christian), Connie (Faron) Leclerc, Michael (Anita) O’Connor, Darren (Melissa) Puchailo.  Her mother-in-law Helen Puchailo, sister-in-laws Karen Johnson, Sylvia(Charles) Yeo, Debby(Phil) Knox, Kelly(Sean) Hamilton, and brother-in-law Melvin Puchailo, Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, Nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grandview Palliative Care Unit.

Funeral Liturgy was held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 10:30 am from Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Resurrection in Dauphin, MB with Very Rev Father Oleg Bodnarski officiating. 

Interment will follow at a later date.
