Rose Monita-Sliworsky

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rose (Monita) Sliworsky. April 12, 1923 to April 22, 2025.  She was a beautiful, kind and thoughtful mother, grandmother and friend to many.

She had just celebrated her 102nd birthday.

Rose is survived by daughter Pauline Hrechka (Ed), daughter Helen Monita (Ian), and son Morris Monita (Donna). Also 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service was held for Rose on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 10:00 am from the Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre in Dauphin with Rev. Father Brent Kuzyk officiating.  

Interment followed in the Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery - Ethelbert.

Should friends so desire, donations in memory of Rose may be made to the Orthodox Cemetery in Ethelbert, MB .
