Peggy Arlene (Jensen) Lang

Peacefully on Monday, March 15, 2021, Peggy Lang at the age of 81 passed away with her family by her side, at the Roblin Hospital.

Peggy was born April 22, 1939 in Dauphin, MB to Albert and Agnes Jensen.

She met her husband Jim and moved to Lynn lake where they married in 1960.  There they built their first home and started a family.  In 1964 they moved to Thompson, MB.  Peggy was a homemaker for many years until she began working for Woolworths.  Mom loved having family and friends near, she welcomed company any time.  She loved playing cards, bocce, country music (Elvis), dancing, bowling and watching sports (Bobby Orr).  in the summers Mom spent time gardening and enjoying the birds from her favourite deck swing.

Peggy is survived by her husband Jim of 61 years; children Cindy (Kelvin) Koutecky of Nanoose, BC, Connie (Brian) Plamondon of Thompson, MB, Carrie Lang of Dauphin, MB, Lindsay (Denise) Lang of Grandview, MB.  Grandchildren Jody (Aaron), Evan (Cynthia), Jared, Chelsey (Mike), Brittany (Jimmy), Michael (Laura), Mercy, Gabe, Tess and great grandchildren Myles, Rhys, Cameron, Max, and Matthew.

In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Peggy may be made to Cancer Care, MB.

Memorial Service was held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm from Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre in Dauphin, MB with Pastor Howard Burnie officiating.  Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery in Dauphin, MB.
