Patrice Chartrand

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dad Patrice Chartrand on Sunday April 15,2018.
Patrice was born on February 16,1937 in Camperville Manitoba to Victorine Tetakawapit and Archie Chartrand. Patrice was predeceased by his wife Maggie Bertha Parenteau, his sons: Patrice Chartrand Jr., Joshua St. Pierre Chartrand, and Richard Martin Chartrand, his siblings; brothers Zachary Contois, Phillip Chartrand, Herman Chartrand and Alex Chartrand, his sisters;  Ida Pangman and Cecile Richard, his father-in-law Alphonse Parenteau, his brother-in-law Leonard Parenteau, and his sisters in-law; Olga Parenteau, Rose Parenteau, Frances Parenteau.
Patrice leaves to mourn his passing;  his children:Lana Chartrand (Louis Bonner), Shirley Moar, Ronald Chartrand (Shirley Genaille), Patsy Moar (Oliver Moar), Sandra Moar and Stepson Clifford Parenteau along with numerous grandchildren,great grand children and great great grandchildren, his sister : Katherine Richard. his brother In laws:Stanley Parenteau,Ernest Parenteau and Donald Parenteau, and his sister in law Rita Gooding(Bill Gooding).
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday April 21,2018 at 3:00 pm in the Sneath-Strilchuk - Ste. Rose Chapel, Ste. Rose du Lac, MB.  In accordance with Patrice's wishes, the service will conclude at the chapel with cremation to follow.   The family invites everyone to join them for a meal at the O-Chi-Chak-Ko-Sipi Band Hall at 5 p.m.
Heaven has gained another angel..Dad will walk among the stars with Mom and together they will watch over us until our journeys are finished.
