Murray Steven Gara

Suddenly on July 16, 2026 Murray left us to join his father, mother & family. Murray was born on March 19, 1956 to Bill & Nellie (Furkalo) Gara.

Murray took over the family farm following the death of his father in 1974. Farming was his passion, along with fishing both ice and lake. Murray was a witty soul and could keep up with the best of men or story telling. We will miss him dearly.

Murray was predeceased by his father Bill in 1974, his mother Nellie in 2009 and his step father Lawrence Sliworski in 2024.

He is survived by his brother Alan, sister Joan (Paul Regan) and his sister Janet (Ernie Sirski). His nephews Bryan Sytnick, Brett Sytnick & Taran Sytnick. Nieces Tanis (Rob Chubey) & their children Oren & Beatrice, Rachel (Jens Jensen) & their children Nicholas & James, Alyssia (Richard Nassif).

Rest in Peace Murray. Vichnaya Pamyat.
