Michael George Relko

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Michael George Relko of Dauphin, Manitoba at the age of 56 on January 23, 2026. He was battling various health issues for over a year and was finally at peace late on Friday night while at Dauphin Regional Health Centre. We would like to thank the staff at DRHC for their caring attentiveness with him in his last days.

Michael was predeceased by his father George and his mother Nelly, as well as, by his sisters, Elizabeth and Carol, and common law partner Susan Hoffman. His sister Kathy is still going strong.

Michael was known for his sense of humor and his love of animals. He always had cats scattered around the farm and in the house, he cared deeply for. He was always willing to help anyone in need, no matter what the concern was.

Even though he lived on a farm, everyone in Dauphin knew him because he was such a friendly person. Michael worked for Petro Canada for many years and will be deeply missed. 

A private ceremony will be held at a later date for family and close friends.
