Marion Rose Dupley

Marion, daughter of Alex and Anne Dupley, passed away on September 22, 2020 at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.

Marion was born on December 4, 1966 at Gilbert Plains and attended the Gilbert Plains Elementary School.  After graduating from the GP Collegiate in the fall of 1984, Marion moved to Winnipeg where she enrolled in the Hotel Management course at Red River Community College.  Upon completion, she worked at the Sheraton, Viscount Gort, and International Inn as front desk manager.  She was a very ambitious girl and moved on to several other jobs, from banking to marketing with both the Winnipeg Jets and Blue Bombers.  Her love of cats was obvious; they were her extended family!  Marion had many very close friends who surrounded her with love and concern and constant care during her cancer treatments, for which we are very thankful.

She leaves behind her parents, Alex and Anne; sister Sandra (Jeff Middlestead); brother Edward; friend Rob Brazeau; nieces Destiny (Daniel), Breanne (Mike) and their children; her uncles Metro Dupley and Norman Gilbert; aunts Marion Gilbert, Anne Furkalo and Vicky Podworny (God Mother).

A Private Family Graveside Service was held for Marion.
