Marguerite "Peggy" Rosemarie (Goulet) Allen

Marguerite "Peggy" Allen of Dauphin, beloved wife of Dr. Don Allen, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at the age of 88 years.

Peggy, was involved over the years in the Sweet Adeline Chorus, as well as the local The Alcoholic Anonymous chapter.

She was an excellent secretary for the Frontier School Division and other numerous businesses in the Dauphin region.  Peggy was also an employee of MTS for many years and for a time involved with Mary Kay.

She was predeceased by her parents, Wilfred and Laura Goulet; sister Annabel; brothers, Albert, Lionel, Willy and Jim Goulet.  She was also predeceased by her daughter Laura Smith (nee Allen).

She was well known and well-loved in the community.

The family would like to thank the Dauphin Regional Health Authority and all who helped Peggy these last few years, their care was greatly appreciated.

She is survived by her husband Don Allen of 62 years; sons Scott and Alice Allen, Paul Allen; son-in-law Dave Smith; grandchildren Emmanuel & Christian Allen, Steven & Richard Smith, Cathryn Hickman; brothers George and Terri Goulet of Sechelt, BC,  Joseph Louis and Nell Goulet of Winnipeg, MB; sister-in-law Sheila Goulet of Toronto.

Peggy had a strong faith in her Savior Jesus Christ, and her favorite passage of scripture was PS 23 - The Lord is My Shepherd.  She is now with family and friends gone before.

The Allen family will host a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 1st, 2020 at 11:00 am from Mountain View Christian Assembly.
