Margaret (Pearson) Campbell Kempf

Margaret Campbell Pearson of Grandview, MB passed away November 24, 2022 at the Grandview Personal Care Home at the age of 95 years.

She was born September 13, 1927 in Gilbert Plains.  She attended business school and then worked for Powell Equipment doing office work in Winnipeg as well as the Gillam Air Force doing records.

She was united in marriage to Fred Kempf in 1948.  They farmed together in the Locksley District until 1993 at which time they retired to town in Grandview.

Together they travelled to the East Coast, Georgia, Churchill, and B.C.

Margaret loved playing bingo, cards, marbles and the odd bus trip to the casino.  She really enjoyed the Grandview Drop In Centre.  Nothing made Marg more happy than to see her two great grandchildren, Jack & Clay come to visit and she would go straight to the deep freeze for a drumstick.

Margaret was predeceased by her son Jack in 2013 and husband Fred in 2014.  She was predeceased by five brothers and one sister.  She has one sister in B.C.

Surviving are three children, Linda (Arnold), Marilyn (Ron), Ken (Darlene) and daughter in law Clara Kempf.  She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great granddaughter, as well as 4 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.

Private services will be held for Margaret.
