It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Lynden Kyle Mintuck of Valley River on Friday, June 18, 2021 at the age of 30 years.
Lynden leaves to mourn his passing and cherish many fond memories: his parents, Cameron Mintuck and Roxanne Cote; daughter, Fayla Amelia Mintuck (mother of Fayla, Delilah Severight); sister, Charlotte Cote; brother, Colin Mintuck and Saskatoon Horse and children. Special aunties, Connie Mintuck, Mildred Catagas, Edna Kakakaway, Elvira Cote, Beverly Cote-Gordon, Vanessa Cadotte, Priscilla Cadotte, Alina Cadotte, Leanne Cote, Sandy Cote, Misty Cadotte, Stephanie Whitehawk, Natalie Stronquill, Cindy Bunnie and Venus Cote; special uncles, Derek Cote, Darren Cote, Bradley Cote, Curtis Mintuck, Brian Mintuck and Ivan Mintuck; special cousins, Edwina Mintuck, Robert Tourangeau, Jacob Gordon and Tia Cadotte; grandpa, Wilfred Catagas and Warren Whitehawk and numerous friends and family.
Lynden was predeceased by grandparents, William John and Georgina Mintuck and Winnifred and George Cote; aunt, Allison Cote; uncle, William Mintuck; cousins, Chandan Kakakaway, Thurston Mintuck, Ashley Kakakaway, Mikey Mintuck; uncle, Dennis Wapash Sr., and other extended family.
Traditional Wake was offered on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 4:00 pm from Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation Hall in Tootinaowaziibeeng, MB. Funeral Service was held on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 10:00 am from Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation Hall in Tootinaowaziibeeng, MB, with Jesse Platt officiating. Interment followed in Cote First Nation Cemetery Band #366 in Kamsack, SK. Pallbearers were Andy Tuckanow, Brenden Tuckanow, Dennis Wapash, Thunder Stronquill, Anthony Mintuck and Darren Cote. Honorary Pallbearers were John Mintuck, Joey Lynxleg, Trevor Lynxleg, Conrad Mintuck, Triton Wapash, Brad Southwind, Adam McKay and many others Lynden has touched
Covid19 restrictions were followed.
