Suddenly, Lisa Louise Shuttleworth (Nee Davis) passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 34. She was pre-deceased by her son James Edward Kelvin Shuttleworth (Little Black Bear), her grandparents Rita & Edward Houle, granny Elsie McAuley, grandpa Albert McAuley, her uncles Wayne Houle & Dennis St. Paul, her aunt, Donna Houle, and cousin Tasheena Traverse, Kirk McAuley.
She leaves behind her husband, James Shuttleworth, 3 daughters, Alia Gale (Blue Wolf), Taylor Gale (Flying Horse), Lynelle Shuttleworth (Dancing Otter Yellow Flower), and son, James Edwin Shuttleworth (Leads the Moose), 3 step-children, Ryu Shuttleworth (Little Bear), Bella Shuttleworth (Morning Dew), River Shuttleworth (Thunderchild), parents Linda & Chris Davis and father, Kelvin McAuley (Laura), sisters Michelle Beaulieu & Kelly Davis & Jessica Bailey (Dave), Brothers Justin Ott, Andrew Wiebe, Father & Mother-in-law David & Isabel Shuttleworth, Sibling-in-laws, Greg Shuttleworth, Jamie Shuttleworth, Joshua Shuttleworth, aunt Kim Campbell (Dwayne), Valerie Moar, Kathleen McAuley, Hilda McAuley, and her uncle, Robin Houle (Cheryl), George McAuley (Janet), Cousins Kelsey McAuley, Wesley McAuley, Elmer Moar, Sherri Moar, Lorne McAuley, Jolene Langlois, Richard Langlois, Amanda Baker, Michael Houle, Byron Houle, Kyle Houle, Keegan Campbell, Bryce Campbell, Ashley Hozempa (Mike), Brendon Houle, Nieces Violet Bailey, Rylee Beaulieu, Rielle Delaronde, Nephews Evan Kipling, Elliott Bailey, Zane Bailey, Jesse Kipling, Raymond Delaronde, Rico Delaronde, Dakota Lewis, Wayne Spence, Daniella Spence, Anthony Houle, Lilly Houle, Desmond Houle, Sykora Chief, Joseph Stevenson, Jacob Stevenson, William Barnsdale, Mya Barnsdale, Paige Barnsdale, and Noah Hozempa. Lisa also leaves behind numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, sun dance and ceremony family and friends.
Lisa was born on March 2, 1991, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was married to her husband James on May 30, 2025, and together they blended their family of 7 children: Ryu, Bella, Alia, River, Taylor, and James, Lynelle. Lisa was a Health Care Aid by professional and enjoyed working with people. Lisa became a stay-at-home mom to her 2 youngest children, James, and Lynelle. Lisa and her husband followed the traditional red road. Lisa completed her 4th year of sun dance in Grand Rapids, MB and planned to dance in Peguis, MB the next year. Lisa and her husband travelled across Turtle Island and coast to coast in Canada and to the south state side helping in any way they could through ceremonies, cultural camps, sweat lodge ceremonies, land-based activities and sun dances. Lisa was a free spirit. She loved to sing, laugh, dance, and joke. Lisa has an infectious personality, and she easily made strong connections with many people.
A Wake was offered on Monday, December 22 at 4:00 pm from the Ebb & Flow Community Complex in Ebb & Flow.
A Funeral Service was held for Lisa on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 11:00 am from the Ebb & Flow Community Complex in Ebb & Flow with Fr Moise Adossou officiating.
The Funeral Service will be live streamed for those that are unable to attend. The live stream will commence once the service begins.
