Krystal Rachel Mousseau

Krystal Rachel Mousseau of Ebb and Flow First Nation passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 in Brandon, MB  at the age of 31 years.  

A wake wias held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 5:00 pm from Krystal's residence, 279 Sucker Creek Road, Ebb and Flow First Nation.  Family and friends who wished to follow Krystal home were asked to meet at Sneath-Strilchuk- Ste. Rose Chapel on Friday, June 4th at 3:30 pm.    

Funeral Service was held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm from Krystal's residence, 279 Sucker Creek Road, Ebb and Flow First Nation.  Mr. Gerald Houle will officiate with interment in the Ebb and Flow Cemetery.  

COVID 19 gathering restrictions of 10 people are in effect.  For those unable to attend, the funeral service on Saturday was livestreamed on the Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Services Facebook page beginning at 2:00 pm.

It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Krystal Rachel Mousseau on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 in Brandon, MB at the age of 31 years.  

Krystal was born on December 17, 1989 in Winnipeg, MB.  

Krystal was known for her laughter and bubbly personality.  She was kind, loving, caring and a friendly young lady.  She filled our lives with laughter and smiles.  She loved to hang out with friends and family.  She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.  

Krystal was predeceased by her daughter Charity, her partner Michael Racette, her father Clifford Baptiste, her brother Russell Mousseau, her brother Bradley, her nephew Tyrese, her grandparents Joe and Mabel Mousseau, her uncles George, Charles and Raymond Mousseau.  

She will be forever loved and missed by her daughters Kaira and Georgia, her mother Elaine (Kenny), her sisters Karen (Brennon), Kristy, Renee (Shaun), Theresa, and Agnes, her brothers Clifford (Amber), Kevin (Tina), her godchildren Kendra, Taylor and Kyler, her godmother Evangeline Mousseau along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her nieces and nephews who were all very special to her.  

Don’t think of her as gone away
her journey’s just begun
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days or years.
Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched
for nothing loved is ever lost
and she was loved so much.
