Kevin Tucker Obituary

Kevin Tucker of Kamloops, BC, passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 59 years.  Kevin was born in Ste. Rose du Lac, Manitoba, on the 24th of August, 1965.  He was the youngest of the seven children of Gerald and Cecile Tucker.

Kevin was in business in Ste. Rose with Kevin’s Gas Bar  for quite a few years.  He married Laurie Debeuckelaere in 1988 and in 1991 they were blessed with their son Colton.  In 1993, they moved to Kamloops, BC.  Kevin continued with running his own gas bars there for quite a few years.  He also worked with Kamloops Corrections  for a while.  Eventually he sold his gas bars and worked as a bus driver for a tour bus company and then as a school bus driver for St. Ann’s Catholic School in Kamloops, where he remained until he fell ill and could no longer work.  Kevin loved camping, trips to Vegas, and travelling.  Fortunately  he was able to do a fair amount of this and he treasured his many trips to Ste. Rose to visit his cherished mother, family and friends.  We would all spend time at the Molgat Park when he came down in summer and those beautiful memories we will always treasure.

Kevin was predeceased by his father, Gerald, in 1993.  He is survived by his son, Colton, future daughter-in-law, Racquel, his mother, Cecile, four sisters, Janet (Danny Delveaux), Carol (Yves Delaurier), Marilyn (Ivan Delaurier) and Lois Bernardin., as well as two brothers, Terence(Sylvia) and Glenn(Sharon).  Also left to mourn his passing are three aunts, Stella Molgat, Jeannie Kernel and Sabine Ingelbeen, and the Tucker/ Ingelbeen, Debeuckelaere/Zastre family  members as well as numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

A graveside service for Kevin was held on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Ste. Rose Cemetery.  Fr Moise Adossou officiated.
