It is with great sadness that we may announce the passing of our beloved sister, mother, cousin, aunty, and dearest friend Karen Lynn Eagle on January 2, 2021 in Regina SK at the age of 32. Karen was born April 28, 1988 in Yorkton, SK.
Karen was predeceased by her children, brothers and sisters, fathers, aunties and several good friends.
Karen leaves to mourn her children, Gabriel and Gabriella Eagle; siblings, Desiree, Taylor, Elijah, Katrina and Melissa Musqua, Leigha Cloud, Annie Cloud, Zandra Levasseur, River Levasseur, Avigail Levasseur, brother, Morgan Eagle; father, Marlin Leigh Shingoose; her aunts, Lisa Eagle, Lori Smith, and many other blood relatives as well as all her street cats she kindly adopted over the years.
Karen gave birth to two beautiful children making her sisters and brothers aunties and uncles for the first time. She really loved all her siblings and was a good big sister. She liked her nice things such as her clothes and shoes in fact some would say she was a stay-at-home model because she enjoyed taking pictures and doing her makeup to the nines. She was a fashion icon, and her style will be missed. Despite all the challenges life threw at her she prevailed on making her a strong woman with an iron will. Karen was really down to earth, and everyone will cherish their funny moments they shared with her. She was always helpful, understanding, and non-judgemental like whether it be a place to stay, food to eat or a person to talk to, Karen was always there for her friends and family. Most importantly she had a truly kind soul she will carry for the rest of eternity.
“Remember Me” by Margaret Mead
To the living, I am gone, To the sorrowful, I will never return,
To the angry, I was cheated, But to the happy, I am at peace,
And to the faithful, I have never left.
I cannot speak, but I can listen. I cannot be seen, but I can be heard.
So as you stand upon a shore gazing at a beautiful sea,
As you look upon a flower and admire its simplicity, Remember me.
Remember me in your heart: Your thoughts, and your memories, Of the times we loved,
The times we cried, The times we fought, The times we laughed.
For if you always think of me, I will never have gone.
