Julia Marie Verhaeghe

Peacefully on September 23, 2018 Mom was called home at 100 years of age.
Julia was born August 17, 1918 in Ste. Amelie to Felix Vandenbosch and Octavie Vallons.
She was predeceased by her husband George on July 15, 1984; her son Joseph on June 23, 1968; grandson Darrell on May 15, 1986; brothers and sisters, Adeline Daems, Rene, Florent, Julien, Rita (age 11), Gerard (age 9) Vandenbosch, Palmyra Lupien, George Vandenbosch, Hermina Pinette & Maurice Vandenbosch.
Julia leaves to mourn her memory 7 children, Elsa (Norman) Plamondon, Adele (George) Burelle, Albert (Sandy) Verhaeghe, Len (Bonnie) Verhaeghe, Rita (Ken) Nieman, Armand (Coline) Verhaeghe, Daniel (Sally) Verhaeghe.
23 grandchildren, Robert Plamondon, Elaine Bennett, Brian (Connie), James, Allan Plamandon, Bruce (Joan) Verhaeghe, Joanne Huband, Karen (Joe) LoVetri, Ernest Burelle, Richard (Diane) Burelle, Michelle Kehler, Rachel (Brad) Lien, Mark (MJ), Dale (Lea), Dean, Troy (Tina) Verhaeghe, Eugene (Arla) Dione Neiman,  Jason (Rachel) Verhaeghe, Jennifer Trudel, David (Jessica), Gregory (Natalie) & Matthew Verhaeghe.

2 sister-in-laws, Agnes Vandenbosch, Gladys Verhaeghe numerous nieces and nephews and very special friends.
Thank you to all the doctors, nurses and all staff at the hospital and Dr. Gendreau Personal Care Home for the excellent care given to our mother.

Funeral Mass for Julia was held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Ste. Rose de Lima Roman Catholic Church.  Fr. Patrick Neufeld celebrated the mass with interment following in the Ste. Amelie Cemetery.  

Should friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Julia to the Activities Department at the Dr. Gendreau Personal Care Home or to Palliative Care at the Dr.Gendreau Personal Home, Ste. Rose du Lac
