Josephine Ruth McKinnon, born May 3, 1944, fulfilled a life of adventure and love before passing away on August 23, 2025.
She was a force to be reckoned with, lived many adventures, and always sought knowledge. She fulfilled her dream of opening a flower shop, a testament to her love for flowers and beauty.
She leaves behind her loving son Lorne, beloved daughter Heather and granddaughter, Cait, whom she raised with immense pride. Her heart was always open to her grandchildren: Trent, Terry, Free, Nick, William and Josh and her cherished great-grandchildren: Elaina, Izaiah, Annelise, McKenna, Preston and Lillyannah.
As the eldest of six siblings, she shared a special bond with her sisters Rosalie and Elizabeth. She deeply loved all her grand children.
Josephine’s kindness, adventurous spirit, love of flowers, sense of humour and thirst for knowledge will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
