John Hyshka

John Hyshka "Johnny" passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the personal care home in Dauphin, MB at the age of 89.

Johnny was born on April 1, 1932 to Peter and Mary Hyshka in Ashville, MB.  He worked on the family farm until he was 16 years old and then followed his passion by joining the Royal Canadian Air Force.

Johnny was predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary; siblings Mike, Nick, Olga, Bill and Anne.

Johnny is survived by his brother Alex (Leona); nephews Terry, Brad, Mitch, Darcy, Billy and Gary.

Locations Stationed and Served: Late 1940's to late 1980's  - Summerside, PEI,  Kapuskasing, ON,  Cold Lake, AB,  Sea Island, BC,  Vancouver Island, BC,  Toronto, ON,  St. John's, QC,  Greenwood, NS,  Search & Rescue all over Canada, Last Posting: RCAF Portage la Prairie, MB  

In accordance with John's wishes, cremation has taken place and interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Dauphin, MB.
