Jasper Clements Strongsky Eastman-McKay of O-Chi-Chak-Ko-Sipi First Nation, beloved son of Jayden Eastman and Keanna McKay passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the age of 2 years.
Jasper leaves many beautiful fond memories with his mother Keanna McKay and his father Jayden Eastman, his Koko Christine and his Pop Faron, his great grandma Susan and his Papa Ralph, his grandpa Eugene, his great grandma Genevieve, his uncles Brendon, Leland, Legion, Draco, Faron Jr, Zeke, Dwayne, Jake, Ethan, Taylor, Carter and Macguire, his great aunties Celina and her children, Heather and Charley, Jane, Tanya and Abigail, his great uncles Curtis and his children, Christopher and his children, Sheldon, Arnold, Terrence, Doran, Wallace Jr and George, his great great uncles Lawrence (Shannon), Wayne (Twyla), Alvin (Jessie), Patrick (Miranda) and his great great Aunties Elizabeth, Charlotte, Charlene, Patricia, Rachel and Maxine along with numerous cousins and extended family members.
Jasper was predeceased by his great great grandparents Clements and Rita McKay, his nanny Tamara Eastman, his little cousin Eddie, his cousin Cheyenne, his great great uncles Delbert, Clayton, Danny, and Leon, his great grandpa Arnold Mousseau, and his great grandparents Wallace and Mae Moar.
A traditional wake began on Sunday, July 4th at 5:00 pm at Jayden and Keanna's residence, House 6023A, O-Chi-Chak-Ko-Sipi First Nation. Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, July 6th at 2:00 pm from Jayden and Keanna's residence, House 6023A, O-Chi-Chak-Ko-Sipi First Nation. Interment followed in the Crane River Reserve Cemetery.
