Helen Wizniak of Dauphin, Manitoba passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at the age of 97 years.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a devoted, loving and caring mother, Helen.
Helen was born in 1928 at Valley River, MB. Her early years of learning were spent at Valley Village School and Dauphin Collegiate.
In 1949 she married Harry and they lived in Sifton for the first five years and were blessed with a daughter, Bonnie. Because of Harry’s occupation, the family moved to Churchill, Cranberry Portage and Winnipeg and then came to reside in Dauphin.
Helen worked as a dental assistant for many years. She became a member of St. Paul’s Auxiliary and volunteered at St. Paul’s Personal Care Home.
Friends were valued in her life and family was of the utmost importance.
Helen was predeceased by her parents, John and Anna; husband Harry; two sisters; four brothers and their spouses.
Left to mourn her passing is her devoted and loving daughter Bonnie and her husband Dave as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
As per Helen’s wishes, cremation has taken place followed by a private family graveside service.
Rest in peace Mom. You will be terribly missed but we will hold on to so many precious memories.
