Helen Deyholos

Helen Deyholos of Grandview, Manitoba passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026 at the age of 91 years.

Helen was born on August 1, 1934, in Rossburn MB ro parents Matthew & Teenie Silewich. She left us peacefully on Sunday, April5, 2026, at the age of 91.

Mom, Baba & Great Baba will be dearly missed & lovingly remembered by children, son Leonard & wife Theresa Deyholos and daughter Patti & husband Doug Lyle.

Grandchildren: Jeremy Deyholos & Sarah Pangman, Nolan Lyle, Jordy Lyle & Meika Bauer, and Crystal Lindenbach. Great Grandchildren: Millie Lyle, Layla Lindenbach & Baby Deyholos due soon. Sister-in-law Gladys Silewich, brother-in-law Walter Puchailo, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Helen was predeceased by husband Paul (2012) & son David (2023), brothers Walter Silewich, Frank & Mary Silewich, and brother Frank in infancy. Helen was also predeceased by in-laws John & Nellie Deyholos, Ted & Mary Deyholos, Nick & Ann Deyholos, and Nellie Puchailo.

Helen’s family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Grandview Personal care Home for all the love & support shown to mom as well as the family while she was a resident there. Mom loved and appreciated you all.

A Funeral Service was held for Helen on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 11:00 am from the Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre in Dauphin with Rev Father Ivan Hnativ officiating. Pallbearers were Jeremy Deyholos, Jordy Lyle, Nolan Lyle, Bradyn Chescu, Brody Chescu and Brendan Chescu.

This service was livestreamed for those who were unable to attend.
