Gordon Frank Parenteau

Gordon Parenteau was born in Grand Rapids, MB and moved to Duck Bay in 1952.

His brothers and sisters are; Peter, John, Gilbert, Angus, Joey, Stanley, Paul, Wilson, Michael, Gloria, Margaret, Blanche and Rose.

Gordon's mother is Flora Parenteau (Morissette), his father is Frederick Joseph Parenteau.

His greatest passion in life was too serve the Lord, read the bible and talk about the word of God.  He also love to play the guitar and sing gospel songs.  Trapping with his Dad was one of his joys and digging roots.

He lived in Camperville, MB with his late wife Lorraine Thompson - Parenteau.  They raised their grandson Bosephus Thompson since he was a child.

He will be missed by many of his family.  His grandchildren, nephews, nieces , brothers and sisters.

Gordon will be laid to rest by his sister Margaret.

Traditional Wake was offered on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 4:00 pm from the Duck Bay Hall in Duck Bay.

A Funeral Service was held for Gordon on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 1:00 pm from the Duck Bay Hall in Duck Bay.  

Interment following in the Duck Bay Cemetery.
