Glenn C Spearman passed away peacefully with family at his side on May 15, 2026 at the age of 75 years. Born on March 12, 1951 in Nipawin Saskatchewan, Glenn lived a life filled with kindness, creativity, and quiet appreciation for the beauty found in everyday moments.
He was known for his gentle spirit, sense of humor, and the way he saw the world through the lens of his camera. Photography was more than a hobby to him - it was his way of preserving memories, capturing emotion, and finding beauty in both the grand and ordinary. Whether photographing family gatherings, nature, sunsets, or candid smiles, his pictures told stories words often could not. Through his photographs, he leaves behind countless treasured memories for those who loved him. Glenn treasured spending time with his family, traveling to Florida as often as he could, and cherished visiting with friends.
He will be remembered for his caring heart, creative eye, and the love he gave so freely. He is survived by his wife Laura Lee Spearman, daughters Michelle (Lloyd) Poast, Lesley (Rex) Bruce, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, sisters Judy (Robert) Taylor, Jean (Allan) Carriere, Phyllis Chartrand, Verna Spearman, cousin (like a brother) Brian Taylor, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Clifford Spearman, in 1973; his mother, Gudrun Spearman, née Jensen, in 1997, sister Joy Hillhouse, in 2024, daughter Rosemary Ann Eleton, in 2018, brother-in-law Garry Chartrand, in 2021 and his cousin (like a sister), Gail Trumbla, née Taylor, in 2023. Though he is no longer behind the camera, the memories he captured - and the love behind them - will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
A Celebration of Life was held for Glenn on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 3:00 pm from the Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre in Dauphin, MB.
