Glenn Kerfoot Obituary

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Glenn Kerfoot on March 25, 2021 at the Dauphin Personal Care Home, at the age of 66 years, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Glenn was born in Toronto, ON in October of 1954. He grew up with his mother (May), his older sisters (Sandy, Cheryl, Bonnie), and younger siblings (Richard, David, Lisa). He left home at a young age and travelled across North America, before finally settling down in Edmonton, AB and starting his own moving company, which he ran independently for almost 10 years. Following this, he completed his carpentry and scaffolding schooling, and went on to become a journeyman carpenter and scaffolder. Glenn was a proud union member. In 1995, He married wife (Judy Kerfoot) after 12 years together, had 2 children (Brodie and Keltie) and moved to Dauphin in 2003.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sons (Josh Jurgens, Brodie Kerfoot), daughter (Keltie Kerfoot), and siblings (Sandy, Bonnie, Richard, David, Lisa). He will also be dearly missed by his friends and care attendants at the Dauphin Personal Care Home.

Glenn was predeceased by parents, George and May Kerfoot, Irene, and his sister Cheryl.

In accordance with Glenn’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Memorial Donations may be made in Glenn’s name to the Dauphin Personal Care Home, or to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
