Georgia Zurba Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Georgia Zurba announce her passing in Dauphin, MB, after a courageous battle with cancer, on June 11, 2021 at the age of 60 years.

Georgia was born in The Pas, MB to parents George and Joyce Hiatt. After completing her education she married David Zurba on July 19, 1980 and started her career in hair dressing until her health forced her to stop.  Over the years she lived in Vancouver, Dauphin and Sifton.

Georgia leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband David Zurba; daughters Jordon (Eric) Pratt and Erin Zurba; her granddaughter Bella Zurba; sister Arlee Butt (Clyd); brothers David (Colleen) Hiatt, Kieth (Cathy) Hiatt, Marc Hiatt, Curt (Lorretta) Hiatt, Laird (Sissy) Hiatt, Sandy Rob Hiatt; many nieces and nephews and other extended family members.  Georgia was predeceased by her parents George and Joyce Haitt; sister Gail Cameron; father-in-law Richard Zurba.

Georgia always enjoyed spending time with family and friends, she enjoyed her Bingo times and friends, camping in her younger years and her trip to Mexico.

A private family Funeral Service was held Thursday, June 17th, 2021 from St. Viator's Roman Catholic Church, Dauphin, MB with Fr. Michel Nault officiating.
