Ernest Walter Wasylyshen

It is with great sadness that the family of Ernest Walter Wasylyshen announces his passing on June 16, 2022, in Dauphin Manitoba, at the age of 87 years. 

Ernie will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years Sylvia, and his children Sally, Rob, Laurie (Tony), Ken (Melanie) and Budd (Sarah).  Ernie will be fondly remembered by his sister Florence, his grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Ernie was predeceased by his parents Annie and William, brothers Steve, Stanley and Pete, and sisters Elsie and Polly. 

Special thanks to the staff at St. Paul’s Personal Care Home.  

Should friends so desire, donations in memory of Ernest may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.  

A Funeral Service was held for Ernest on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 2:00 pm from the Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre in Dauphin.  

Interment following in the Riverside Cemetery - Dauphin.
