Edna joined the Royal Canadian Airforce during World War II and was stationed primarily in Ontario. She made many good friends there and was very proud of being a Veteran.

She was always busy knitting, crocheting or sewing until her eyesight failed her. She also enjoyed building things and loved a challenging project. Edna also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had special toys for when they came to visit.

She leaves to mourn her daughters and son-in-law Joy Sigurdson, Donna Johnson, Peggy Westhorpe, Kathy Westhorpe (Albert Kischook), Kim Westhorpe; grandchildren Morgan Sigurdson, Colin Johnson, Anissa Olafson (Carl), Corey Johnson (Launa), William Kruse (Kristy), Rory Westhorpe, Evan Kruse (Kelly), Danica Reid, Caitlin Westhorpe; great grandchildren Wyatt, Tieran, Avery, Logan, Kaleigh, Charli, Jase, Codi, Jensen; her sister Myrtle Walterson and numerous nieces and nephews.
