Doris married the love of her life Florent Breland on August 4, 2007. She was a kind, loving and beautiful person who would brighten up anyone's day. She worked for many years as a cook for Donald Ahmo school and A-bah-nu-gee Day Care up until she got sick near the end of March 2025.
Doris' pride and joy was her yard decorated with many ornaments and solar lights. She received many compliments. Her favorite past time was her crossword puzzles (her Bible), Bingo, and especially playing VLT's every Friday and Saturday night. Over the years, she has different collections of various items. Doris collected more than 100 unicorns, then dream catchers and bears. Doris would also hint to everyone when she wanted a new pair of shoes or a jacket which she had so many of.
Doris' family grew quite large and she loved each and everyone equally. They each had a special place in her heart. But, most importantly, she always made sure her "Baby Boy" Myles was taken care of. She always said he's the baby.
