Doreen (Gallant) Graham

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Doreen Graham during the early morning hours on Sunday, March 28th, 2021 at the gilbert Plains personal Care Home at the age of 80 years.

Mum / Doreen will be forever and lovingly remembered by her daughters Norma (Ernie) Engbrecht of Gilbert Plains, MB, Charlotte Graham of Beausejour, MB; son Dean and grandson's Sidney and Duston *whom she adored immensely) of Brandon, MB; sister Wilma of Snow Lake, MB; and extended family members.

Mum / Doreen was predeceased by her loving husband Sidney (Sid); her parents Raymond (Ray) and Alice Gallant; brother Keith Gallant and sister Linda Tomanek.

Mum / Doreen was born in Dauphin, MB and grew up and lived all her life in Gilbert Plains with her husband Sid and family.  She worked at Castle's Bee Farm, did Homecare and baby sitting.  Her cooking and baking was beyond delicious.  Mum loved to enter her baking every year at the Annual Gilbert Plains Fair Hall Exhibits, in hope of taking home numerous "Ribbons".

Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Eldon Cemetery in Gilbert Plains.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Gilbert Plains Personal Care Home, the Parkland Humane Society or a charity of one's choice.

The family would like to sincerely thank all the caring staff at the Gilbert Plains Personal Care Home for the many years of excellent care given to our mother.
