Donna Lynne Shield

Donna Lynne Shield was born in Grandview on January 2, 1964 to Marg and Art Shield.

Donna passed away suddenly on March 11, 2026 at the age of 62 years old.

Donna is predeceased by her brother Chet, sister Tracy, her parents Marg and Art, and step father Alex Taylor.

Donna leaves behind her children, Darren (Madison) Cruickshank and Paige (Harley) Kilford.  Donna was a very proud Grandma to her grandson, Otto Kilford.  They were her whole world.

She also leaves behind her siblings, Carol (Adam) Stefanishyn, Gail (Phil) Antoniuk, Shirley (Eric) Porath and Cindy Shield, along with many nieces and nephews, partner Herb Nelson, special friends, and cat, Squeakers.

Donna had a big heart, always carried around a beautiful smile and will be missed by her loved ones dearly.

There will be a private Celebration of Life held this summer in Donna's honor.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkland Humane Society for her love of all animals.
